Oh, that feels very weird. He covers his eyes with his hands for a moment, reeling. It's just as disorienting when he uncovers them again. Everything looks sharper, brighter, strange. And he can see a few patches of scales on his arms, too. He reaches up to feel at his new horns. They're a little short, and very curled, in just the place where the ears of his hat usually go. He got into the habit of pulling on them when he was grass, so he knows it well.

He grins.
