[Now that the corruption has been burnt from Wolfwood's body, he is still feeling...hollow. And bad. In one respect, he understands that the initial corruption in itself wasn't his fault. He didn't go trying to get himself corrupted, it happened because he was attacked by someone corrupted, and didn't realize it had a foothold until it was already too late. But still, with how guilty and terrible he still feels about the book burning, this incident only serves to cause him to backslide on several months of personal growth and forgiveness. You know, as you do.
But at least instead of sulking, he's seeking atonement. And the best way he can think to do that is to reach out to the new hatchlings in the grove, to apologize.
