I was in a world full of gods before this one. But they're not so different from us. They have the ability to change our fates and... the gods here seem powerful, it's true, but they've still got feelings. Wants. Relationships and the need to connect to others. Besides, gods got people that depend on them. Rely on them somehow. That thing out in the forest doesn't have any of that, so I'm pretty sure he's just a sadistic jerk with too much power.

And I'm used to that. I've died to someone like that back home already, so this is just... take two, as far as I'm concerned.

Which is why I gotta be more prepared...
