The unoccupied rooms are empty, of course. The beds haven't even been made, though the sheets and bedding do wait to be put on the mattress eventually. Most of the furniture seems to be nailed down, but sometimes he finds pictures in drawers- sketches of flowers and new species of animals, the giant trees and animals that live among them, and... off-color photographs of some of the people he's seen here, and some he hasn't, but younger and healthier- almost none of them are looking at the camera though. The candid photos seem to be people at play during a festival.
